The museum fills the palace of İbrahim Pasha, Grand Vizier to Suleiman the Magnificent, on the west side of the Hippodrome. It holds one of the world’s finest carpet collections, with manuscripts, ceramics and woodwork from the Seljuks to the Ottomans.
